AQA 5.1.1.1 Atoms, elements and compounds

This lesson is designed to cover AQA 5.1.1.1 Atoms, elements and compounds. It includes definitions of atoms, elements and compounds, 2 naming elements and compounds activities and some plenary questions.
I like colourful presentations and prefer comic sans font.
I have included a couple of introduction to word equation slides after the plenary for you to use if your class complete the activities quickly. The specification does talk about balancing equations and writing word equations at this point but I don’t believe the intent is to include balancing equations specifically at this point.
