These resources are designed for the AQA legacy GCSE Specification. I used these for my Easter revision sessions last week and these will form an integral part of my final revision sessions leading up to the summer exam in May. Included are the following resources:

1) Easter revision mind maps - 19 pages covering all chapters / sections of the specification. Each chapter is broken down into key concepts / sections to aid students' knowledge and understanding e.g. Individual differences is broken down into; age differences, perceived gender differences, disability categories and how sport is adapted etc..

2) A simple revision checklist - broken down into the 12 chapters covered in the mind maps that students can assess their understanding to prioritise their weaker topic areas.

3) Complete past paper question booklets from 2010 all the way up to 2016 (over 100 questions!!)- again broken down into the 12 chapters to aid consistency and sub divided for each chapter into the 3 sections of the actual exam paper - multiple choice, short answer and preliminary questions. All questions are referenced to the actual exam paper; year and question number!

The Easter revision mind-maps proved very useful to consolidate my students' learning. I printed these off as A4 booklets for each students and then enlarged each page into A3 and scattered them around the classroom. I organised the students into pairs and allocated one pair / group per chapter and gave each a different colour pen. The first few rotations students had to identify key words, then define them, support with relevant sporting examples and apply to effects (positive / negative) on performance.

The question booklet is going to be used for speed dating for the remaining lessons to get students used to the question layout and terminology AQA will use in their actual exam.
