Students may come to study this visual course with little previous experience of doing a sketchbook/workbook (interchangeable terms).
This simple PowerPoint gives them a basic idea and structure to use for making their own digital workbooks that should get them into good habits.
Whilst creativity is encouraged in their photographic work, a sketchbook is to be assessed and so needs to be clear, well set out and arranged logically. This should help them start that.
This is a good worksheet/guide to use alongside Workbook Contents worksheet, as an ongoing independent resource for learners.
This is drawn from my years of experience as a practicing photographer and visual arts/photography teacher and has been freshly updated in August 2025.
