Celebrating World Book Day through a French comic.

Astérix Le Galouis is one of the most important and well-knows comic for young people in France.

The series first appeared in French in the magazine Pilote on 29th October 1959. As of 2008, 33 comic books in the series have been released.

It was first written by René Goscinny and illustrated by Albert Uderzo.

The following presentation is prepared to immerse students in the world of Astérix with a range of activities aimed to Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5.
