This resource is suitable for any GCSE exam board. For atoms of the first 20 elements of the periodic table it involves:
- drawing electron arrangements
- writing electron arrangements
- identifying the number of protons and neutrons
The elements are arranged in groups and periods.
Accompanying questions therefore enable students to identify links between atomic structure and the position of the element on the periodic table.
