This resource is a 22 page PDF document with a research activity on twelve landmarks of Australia.

The landmarks included are:

  • the Great Barrier Reef

  • the Sydney Harbour Bridge

  • the Twelve Apostles

  • the Bungle Bungle Range

  • the Sydney Opera House

  • Uluru

  • the Three Sisters

  • Wilpena Pound

  • Parliament House

  • Karlu Karlu / Devils Marbles

  • Kata Tjuta / The Olgas

The teacher just has to print off the sheets and give one to each student / group in the class. Each sheet asks for similar information so all students are doing a similar research activity. Students can then research the particular landmark they were given and record their information on their worksheet. The sheets look great displayed in the classroom when finished.

Each worksheet is provided in a black and white version and also a colour version.

This activity was written to use with the new Australian Curriculum History K-10 Syllabus.
