An assembly that encourages children to think about what it means to be a good neighbour and caring for those around them.

Starts with a clip of Emporer Penguins huddling together to keep warm. This links into Jesus' famous saying of "Love God and love your neighbour as yourself".

Then uses the story of Jesus healing Simon Peter's mother and a video of Katie's Krops (about 9 year old Katie Stagliano who grew a giant cabbage and donated it to a local food kitchen) to give examples of being a good neighbour.

Finishes with a reflection and a prayer that challenges the children to think about why Jesus said loving God and loving others was the most important rule to live by, and how they can be a good neighbour.
