A fun resource to teach students about how bitmap images are stored and represented on computers. Involves students creating of Pixel Art images . Students work through a series of tasks (on seperate worksheets) which get progressively more challenging. Also teaches the concept of colour depth and encourages students to consider how many different combinations can be made and therefore assigned to different colours. Keeps even the most disruptive students quite for an hour. Suitable for KS3/4.
