Blood Brothers Unemployment

Blood Brothers lesson that explores how Act Two builds tension through the juxtaposition of Mickey and Linda’s wedding and Mickey losing his job as we find out more about how Mickey and Linda have grown up whilst Edward still lives in a dream. We look at a range of dramatic techniques Willy Russell uses in order to engage his audience and how he did so. A really useful lesson for students preparing for AQA English Literature Paper 2 and other exam boards like EDUQAS, WJEC, Edexcel, OCR and more as we study Willy Russell’s fantastic play.
