Buzzy Bear Script - for ages 4-6 (short play)

This script is are available to use for your own small productions. They are ideal for drama clubs, small school performances and theatre classes.

I do not provide backing tracks or sheet music with any script, however I can give you suggestions of songs and dances that will fit into the performance.

Written by Sarah Martin (inspired by Dorothy Marino’s book ’ Buzzy Bear goes South’)

Synopsis: Buzzy Bear doesn’t want to hibernate for winter this year, he wants to go South with the birds, will he make it there?

Roles: 11 to 17 playing parts - Narrators, Buzzy Bear, Mother Bear, Father Bear, Birds, Squirrel, Chipmunk, Badger, Hedgehog, Tortoise (Optional - Butterfly, Raccoon, Hamster)

Age Range: 4 - 6 year olds

Playing Time: 15-20 minutes .

Music: The copy of the script has suggestions of songs to accompany the script.
