Change a Story - Dinosaur English Planning
Suitable for KS1

This weekly planning asks children to change the three dinosaur characters from Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs by Mo Willems. The hook for the series of lessons is for children to find a crime scene!

This plan includes 5 days of planning with the below WALTs:

1. Sequence events in a story.
2. Retell a story.
3. Innovate characters.
4. Create a story map.
5. Write a story using our story map.

This plan includes 4 levels of differentiation;
Red 1 - SEN children
Yellow 2 - Main task with a scaffold
Green 3 - Main task
Blue 4 - Greater depth/ mastery challenge
