Child-led Christingle Service (Script, PowerPoint + Booklet) Suitable for Primary School This Christingle Service is great if you want the children to have speaking parts, if not, check out this adult-led service here. I would recommend purchasing the adult-led OR the child-led version, as they are similar. This high-quality resource includes an 11-slide PowerPoint that accompanies the script. The Script and PowerPoint can be used for a lovely Christingle Service. The Script is 826 words long and will create a service of approximately 30-40 minutes long. There are a number of speaking parts for 6 narrators and other children to join in. However the script can be totally adapted to add or take away parts. There are three parts to the service: Part 1 - Welcome Part 2 - The Light Jesus Brought Part 3 - The Light of our Christingles As well as 3 songs for children to sing. The service ends with a prayer. Child-led Harvest Festival (Script, PowerPoint + Booklet) Suitable for Primary School This Harvest festival service/ assembly is great if you want the children to have speaking parts, if not, check out this adult-led service here. I would recommend purchasing the adult-led OR the child-led version, as they are similar. This high-quality resource includes a simple 10-slide PowerPoint that accompanies the script and service booklet. The script, PowerPoint and booklet can be used for a lovely Harvest festival. The Script is 990 words long and will create a service of approximately 30-40 minutes long. The script has been written with the intent of the service being led by 8 narrators along with other speaking parts. However the script can be totally adapted to add or take away parts. The script also includes involvement from children through singing songs and displaying art work. However, these sections can be taken out if you wish. There are five parts to the service: Part 1 - Welcome Part 2 - Our Chosen Charity Part 3 - Being Thankful Part 4 - The Farmer and the Seeds (parable) Part 5 - Closing Thanks As well as four songs for children to sing, which can all be accessed off YouTube. White Rose Maths - Early Years - Alive in 5! White Rose Maths - Early Years - Spring - Phase 1 - Weeks 1, 2, 3 Suitable for Early Years Please note: this planning is based off of the previous version of White Rose Maths. They have since updated their scheme, however a lot of the themes overlap. This detailed planning (5240 words) has links to the NEW EYFS 2021 Framework and includes lots of fun activities, all of which are practical and engaging! Most of the learning takes place through a play based approach. The planning has a new format that it makes it more practical for everyday use in an Early Years setting. The front page of the document highlights the development matters/ ELG statements that are being met. The main planning includes 5 minute warm ups for each of the weeks, an input for each day of the week, an adult focus activity (for the week) with differentiation for SEN, lower ability, middle ability and higher ability, and finally continuous provision activities. All of the resources needed for the main activity and input are either listed or included. The WALTS covered are: Week 1 – Introducing Zero and Comparing Numbers to 5 Understand what zero looks like. Feel free to lean more towards either way if appropriate.
