This high-quality resource includes an 11-slide PowerPoint that is accompanied by speaker notes (357 words). The PowerPoint and speaker notes can be used for an Earth Day assembly which is on 22nd April every year.

The assembly lasts around 25 minutes, but could be shortened by removing some slides.

The assembly is structured as such:

1. Sharing expectations for the assembly
2. Origin of Earth Day (Santa Barbara oil spill 1969).
3. Nature video
4. 2 choices of activities in which children brain storm ideas for how to look after our planet.
