This activity will allow students to identify information in a story that is important for understanding the text. This can include story elements such as character, setting, plot, conflict, and theme from a book as well as beginning, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. Students will be using the book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Ronald Dahl to create a book report that will be the first step in preparing for an oral presentation.
