The perfect guide to completing Component 1& 2 of the BTEC Tech Award in Creative Media Productions. This scheme of work is designed to help support students when completing the ‘Re-Imagine’ authorised brief from the exam board. As well as the 'Exploring Media Products’ authorised brief from the exam board.

Each lesson is planned for 75 minute lessons (55 teaching hours approx). However, can easily be adapted or extended further. The lessons support students with all of the tasks needed to complete the component. There are a variety of teacher led activities, active learning tasks with all differentiated to stretch and challenge the higher ability students and support the lower candidates. I use the lessons as half teacher led and second half Workshops and active learning.
The Student Guide- My Students have found this student guide to be extremely useful. The 10 page document includes: An extensive checklist which breaks down the 3 tasks into a checklist which corresponds with the Scheme of Work included. Hello, thanks for uploading these. Have I downloaded the updated component 2? If not how do I go about this please? The PowerPoint presentations are really aesthetically pleasing. Some very modern, up to date references and examples of media our learners will be able to relate to. Some lessons have clear learning objectives, some also with WALT/WILF and success criteria. These are not on each lesson however perhaps this is intentional and they are given at the start of topics only. Perhaps the author could clarify? Some lessons make reference to resources/hand outs and I cannot for the life of me find them. Also, I wonder if it's possible to see the SoL/planning documents to support these resources? It would be great to get in touch, please drop me an e-mail if possible grovesy@hotmail.com. Thanks again!

This doesn't cover all outcomes for Component 2 so isn't a complete guide as advertised.<br /> What is there is good but isn't suitable for my needs so can't justify spending £15 on it - this doesn't mean it won't be suitable for others however!

Although not all bad, it only covers one out of three learning outcomes for Component 2. The two I need are ironically the ones missing. Please can I have a refund as I’ve spent £15 on this resource and it is not as described.
