This is set of loop cards which contain a number of compound shapes and their areas. There are a mixture of shapes in this activity, as well as the usual rectangular composite figures there are also hexagons and kites. This is a fantastic group/pair activity which gets pupils moving and interacting with other students in the class and an refreshing alternative to textbook work which pupils will enjoy.
