This KS3 Computer Crime & Cyber Security KS3 Computing resource comprises a SOLO Progress Tracking Grid for approximately six lessons, a corresponding Knowledge Organiser, a multiple choice Test and the Answers for the test. The resources are editable and so you can alter these to your specific curricular.

**How to use this resource? **

  • The Knowledge Organiser and the SOLO Progress Tracking Grid are distributed amongst the students at the beginning of a Term.
  • The SOLO Progress Tracking Grid that matches the Knowledge Organiser is used by the students and the teacher to monitor progress. The students are highlighting / underlining their progress on the Grid each lesson.
  • The Knowledge Organiser Test is used at the end of the Term and will approximately take 40 minutes to complete.
  • The Answers are used by the students to self-mark in class or the teacher to determine how well the students have achieved in this topic.

I found it useful for the students to complete the KO test in one lesson and self mark it. The students then have converted their scores into a percentage and shared it with me. These tasks can be completed in one 40 – 50 minutes lesson.

This resource has been successfully used in my KS3 classes, in an “Outstanding” school as rated by UK Ofsted.
