I used the texts as a read-around-the-room activity. There are 4 festivals described within the powerpoint (I printed the texts to stick on walls around the room).
Students had to find out what they could about the 4 festivals/traditions and complete the grid in English.
Then, they should choose one and write a description of a visit there.
