Hi everyone,

This lesson is based on the 2023 AQA Design & Technology exam paper, which we use as a mock assessment. It can be delivered either as preparation for a mock exam or as feedback following one. The focus is on Section A: Core Technical Principles.

The first two slides explore how short-term and long-term memory work. The lesson is built around a PowerPoint presentation that includes a variety of GIF animations and YouTube Shorts to make the content more engaging.

Encourage pupils to take notes throughout and use frequent questioning to check who has retained the key information.
