A complete, fully differentiated lesson with examples using the grid method and a range of clear progress checks before each RAGed task (with answers) on the following learning objectives:

  • Understand how to find the highest common factor of a number and an algebraic term.
  • Use the HCF to factorise an expression into a single bracket.

This lesson can be used with KS3 or KS4 students as it also involves factorising into a set of single brackets. This PowerPoint also shows clear progression through the lesson using the learning objectives.

A Good PowerPoint but feels unfinished, slides asking for the HCF don't give the answer. No slide gives a summery of method. RAG tasks are Very good. The criticism may seem hard but at £3.00 I expect well finished. Would I buy again? no.
