Feelings Match and Make Faces

This 4-page EYFS and KS1 resource supports learning around ‘Me, Ourselves, and Feelings’ through observation, discussion, and creativity.
The pack begins with a poster (Page 1) showing colourful pairs of faces with different emotions such as happy, sad, angry, and tired.
Each pair is a different colour and includes emotion words to help children talk about and recognise feelings.
Page 2 offers the same faces in black and white without words, so children can find and colour matching pairs and add their own feeling words.
Page 3 provides blank face outlines for children to create their own expressions, features, or emotion labels.
This activity encourages emotional awareness, empathy, vocabulary building, and fine motor skills while helping children explore how faces show different feelings in themselves and others.
