Finding percentages of amounts (money) Harry Potter themed maths lesson KS2

In this lesson the children get to build a bridge the aim is to make the strongest bridge possible. The children have to pay for their equipment using their 'knots' (money). Time to time you can put an offer on the board and play the Harry Potter theme music, which means there is discount on bridge making products. The slides of the Powerpoint will teach learners how to find percentages of money using a place value grid. I hope your class enjoy this as much as my class did!
