French Holidays Essential Vocab Builder

This worksheet is based on the AQA vocab list and includes all of the words that students typically struggle to recognise on the reading and listening papers.

There is a grid where students are able to fill in the words that they know, and then you can fill in the ones they struggled with as a group.

Beneath, there is a grid for students to practise conjugating the infinitives into the ‘I’ form of common tenses. Irregular or tricky verb conjugations have greyed-out boxes.

Finally, the vocabulary in the initial grid has been included in translations for students to put into English. They can practise identifying the tense in this activity to support this skill for the reading exam.
