Functions - Finding the value of a function and inverse function

As part of the new GCSE syllabus, students are expected to be able to find the value of a function and find the inverse of a function. This powerpoint presentation guides students through step by step how to do this. To extend the more able there are also examples of how to solve a function when given the function and what it is equal to, allowing students to form a quadratic equation and solve it to find the two possible x values of the function.
I have created this powerpoint to present alongside using the GCSE 4-9 Essential Maths book.
