This is a full level 1 Excel task which I created for my City & Guilds Level 1 Award for IT Users (7574) class to use as exam practice for Unit 127. It follows the style and format for the City & Guilds formal 1.5 hour assignments very closely.

The scenario is working for a large furniture supplier where inventory levels are tracked using a spreadsheet. It is split into 4 parts, covering data entry/editing, use of formulas for mark-up and VAT, then use of an ‘IF’ function, and finally creating a column chart. Also contains use of print area, sorting, filtering, formula view, currency format, footers.

Contains task file (5 pages, Word and PDF versions included), spreadsheet file (~200 entries xls file), full answer files, sample printouts and mark scheme.

Tested with Excel versions 2010 and 2013.
