I’ve spent a signficant amount of time putting this original assessment material together due to the lack of resources provided by the exam board and other publishers.

This resource includes an 80 mark (1hr 45 min) mock exam paper, fully formatted ready to print in the AQA style, with MCQs, short answer questions and 9 mark / 15 mark essay. Spaces are included for student answers so the paper is truly ready to use with little / no editing.

Ideal for a Y11 mock exam

Paper 1 content is Section A (40 marks) and covers a whole range of questions from most of the ‘How markets work’ Paper 1 syllabus.

Paper 2 content is Section B (40 marks) and covers the Introduction to the national economy and Government objectives sections only from the ‘How the economy works’ Paper 2 syllabus.

The exam has been carefully composed to mirror closely the AQA sample paper formats and uses the same marking criteria. Questions are challenging but varied.
