Gold, Silver and Bronze Stars Resource Pack and Great Ideas on How to Use Them

When a student does something special or achieves something special, it is something special, something that can be recognised and rewarded with a star, a star, a star. Here are some Gold, Silver and Bronze stars, and a collection of tried and trusted ideas on how to use the stars. I found the pages with Gold, Silver and Bronze stars on them fantastic, as I could say on the page why the student was being awarded the colour and discuss with them how they might get the next colour up or how they might get another Gold (if it was Gold). What was even more magical was when another student or pairs of students did what I just did, award a star and say why and how to improve or get another one....and I listened in. Quite amazing and refreshing, providing huge benefits to the class climate/atmosphere, student resilience and initiative, and rich learning experiences.
