Set beneath the Big Top, the story follows Nellie Tramp, a larger-than-life Ringmistress whose struggling circus is threatened by her villainous brother Hedleigh J. Strong. When Goldilocks meets a family of talented bears hiding in the woods, she discovers the one thing that might just save the circus, if the audience helps her along the way!
This version keeps the classic fairy-tale moments while introducing colourful circus characters, clear comic roles, and plenty of opportunities for slapstick, boos, cheers, and call-and-response. The script is tightly structured to run comfortably in 15–20 minutes, making it ideal for assemblies, festivals, end-of-term performances, or as part of a larger showcase.
