This cross-curricular math / science activity is designed to get your class thinking about how much sugar is in the food that they’re eating as part of your healthy eating topic. They will look at how many cubes of sugar different foods contains and use that information to figure out how many grams of sugar each food kind contains (using their 4x table).

This pack included 3 differentiated sheets.

  • LA: Only using whole numbers

  • HA: Using decimals

  • Blank sheet where they find out their own foods using the internet for research.
