A resource about Hurricane Florence in 2018. The lesson looks at the background to the storm and has a longitude and latitude exercise to follow the storms track. Students categorise information about the preparations taken for the arrival of the hurricane and look at the effectiveness of the response. At the end of the lesson students are able to create an A3 graphic organiser to summarise the case study. The resource is designed with the Edexcel B course in mind, but could be adapted to other examination boards.
