A fantastic lesson for secondary school geographers learning how to construct and interpret a climate graph. The lesson starts with an introduction to and definition of the term discharge and what that looks like in a river. The next 10 minutes of the lesson will be in a form of a presentation using microsoft powerpoint displaying how to cronstruct a Hydrograph. Students can then be given a worksheet (attached) to construct their own hydrograph and add labels to it. There is then the opportunity to look at the different factors which would affect the shape of a hydrograph with an exam style question attached as well as a chance to recap.

Fantastic lesson, really good visuals that especially helped the students understand discharge and its place on a hydrograph!! Would definitely recommend for any who may be struggling with this topic!
