Incy Wincy Spider forces lesson

This is an Understanding the World lesson related to the nursery rhyme ‘Incy Wincy Spider’. Our sticky knowledge for this week is that objects move forwards, backwards, up and down.

There are lots of opportunities to repeat the rhyme and teach children about up and down, forwards and backwards. The main activity for this lesson is teaching children to use the bee bots. They have been used throughout the year but this lesson gives them the chance to use them with growing independence and to make their own instructions for the bee-bot using the nursery rhyme 'Incy Wincy Spider
