This lesson was given during an Ofsted observation as part of a Vocational Humanities group but it can also be used for a Geography class while studying tsunami’s.
The lesson is in relation to the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami and opens with a movie trailer of The Impossible to give students a visual of a tsunami. Students then are to write what is happening in each diagram and use key words to describe the processes involved within a tsunami.
