Interactive Morning Routine Display (KS2)

An interactive morning routine for the whiteboard or classroom TV, for ages 8 to 11 (Year 4 to Year 6). A guided routine, feelings check-in, word of the day, 8 brain breaks and a fair name picker on one screen.

It runs in your web browser from a single file. No prep, no logins, and it works offline. Unzip the folder, double-click the file, and it opens.

• A calm animated greeting with the day, date and a weather question
• Now and next from your timetable, plus birthdays and notices
• A Do Now card and a thought for the day
• A guided routine: tap Start and it walks your class through each step with Back and Next. Turn any step on or off.
• A feelings check-in with a class tally
• Daily practice: word of the day with meaning and example, number of the day with 8 quick checks, and a grammar warm-up
• 8 ready-to-go brain breaks, including freeze dance with built-in music, would you rather, silent ball and calm breathing
• A name picker where everyone gets a turn before anyone repeats, plus groups of 2 to 6 in one tap
• A timer, calming scenes with background sounds, and a button to show another tab or window on the board

Make it yours

• UK, Australian, NZ, Canadian and US spelling and date formats (Celsius for the UK)
• Use your school logo or a class photo, or hide the mascot
• Pick an accent colour and change or hide the text at the bottom
• Edit the timetable, notices, birthdays, morning work and term dates
• Your class list stays on your computer. Nothing is sent anywhere. A Backup button moves your settings to another computer.
