Having a range of visual strategies is important when introducing division. Here you will have a choice of using arrays or equal groupings.

Dividing with Arrays
There are 6 Sets of Worksheets covering 3 ranges of numbers

  • Set 1 & 2: Dividends are between 6 and 25
  • Set 3 & 4: Dividends are between 10 and 42
  • Set 5 & 6: Dividends are between 12 and 49

Sets 1,3 & 5: The total number of objects is given. Students have to find the number of rows, number of objects in each row and write the division equation.
Sets 2,4 & 6: Students have to also count the total number of objects

Making Arrays
Students are given a page of division equations and from this they must create an array.
There are 2 Sets of Worksheets
Set 1: The dividend is between 4 and 42
Set 2: The dividend is between 20 and 80
This is really the reverse process to the previous set of Worksheets on Multiplying with Arrays.

Division with Equal Groups
8 Sets of Worksheets
4 Sets: Dividends are between 6 and 25
4 Sets: Dividends are between 20 and 50
Within each set of 4, objects are bundled together with the equal number of objects in each group. Further differentiation includes being

How many worksheets are in each set ?
Lots and lots … At the click of a button, located at the bottom of each page, the pictures are randomised, so the questions change every time which allows you to create new worksheets at the same level for extra practice or revision throughout the year or even give groups of pupils in your class different sets of questions again all at the same level. The multiple levels of worksheets means that you can differentiate from the very start and have the freedom to set the pace of work that you deem is best for each student.

No-Prep Worksheets
These are straightforward no-prep worksheets that require no extra work. Simply CLICK-PRINT AND GO. This makes them ideal to have printed and ready for a replacement teacher if needed.

Answers are automatically generated every time.
