Introduction to algebra Bundle

A collection of three worksheets introducing students to algebra.
The first is on algebraic manipulation, including: ab in place of a times b, 3y in place of y + y + y and 3 times y, a squared in place of a times a, a cubed in place of a times a times a, a squared b in place of a times a times b, a/b
in place of a divided by b , coefficients written as fractions rather than as decimals and brackets. The second is on basic algebra: using algebra notation, collecting like terms, expanding brackets and using index notation. The third is on expanding single and double brackets and factorising algebraic expressions.
