Jean-Michel Basquiat Lesson Plan

This lesson plan provides students with key information about Jean-Michel Basquiat and his artwork and encourages them to examine his unique style. Students will create their own self portrait in response to his artwork. Includes an think pair share starter activity, scavenger hunt task with information on the artist and practical portrait task using mixed media. Includes exit ticket plenary.
