This is a set of 2 extensive worksheets and a series of teacher notes for Order of Operations. This sheet is suitable for teachers both KS3 and GCSE.

This worksheet is part of a series of worksheets that have been designed to support teaching for mastery.

The sheets

- Are pupil friendly - but extensive
- Have lots of opportunities for pupils to reason and problem solve
- Try and support teachers, teaching for understanding
- Provide full answers
- Allow teachers to teach for depth
- Have procedural and conceptual variation where possible.

Worksheet 1
This first worksheet is designed to get pupils starting their thinking about the hierarchy of operations.

Worksheet 2
This second worksheet is designed to take pupils on in their thinking about order of operations. The questions get increasingly more difficult (but not ridiculous). The main objective of the early part of this worksheet is to get pupils to realise that they have to do some calculations at the same time in the same step – working from left to right.

I hope you find them useful.

It looks great but the 2nd worksheet is missing and there are 2 sets of teachers notes. Not that happy as I paid for it.
