These are ideal to start the lesson off and be a ‘settler’ activity you can put on the board for students to complete as they come into class to focus them. They also work well as a plenary activity. Topics covered include: Pictograms, Bar Charts, Line Graphs and Pie Charts.
Questions included are a mixture of reading information of a graph and more challenging ‘rich’ thinking activities which encourage discussion among pupils.
