These are the first 3 lessons in a set of 13 based around Hazards for Key Stage 3.
Lessons are designed to last 1 hour and should provide a challenging introduction to Hazards.

L1. Weather: covers definition, types of weather, equipment used to measure weather, synoptic symbols and weather recording homework task.
L2. Up in the Air: covers air masses, air pressure, and UK extreme weather with a mini case study of Storm Ciara.
L3. Water Cycle: Knowledge test, introduction to clouds, types of precipitation, methods of transport and storage in the water cycle.

Lessons have weblinks and resource sheets attached to powerpoint. Tasks have green pen answers to support marking and feedback. Spelling test and homework included. Split/differentiated tasks and challenge tasks throughout.
