Two game boards - one in French and one in English, as well as the markers are included in this game.

This game practices the verb ‘avoir’ as well as pets in French. It is an oral as well as strategic game for two players.
Players decided who is using the red markers and who is using the yellow markers. Alternatively you could use coloured pens rather than the markers.

The aim of the game is to get four squares in a row . The row can go across, up and down or diagonally. To be able to place a marker, the player has to say the correct sentence in French. For example if they want to go in the bottom left corner, they would say ‘J’ai un chien’ but if they want to go in the top right corner, they would say ‘Ils ont un lapin’. Players can only put a marker on the bottom row and then stack on top of other markers.

This is a great verbal game in French to practice the verb ‘avoir’ as well as pets in French.
