A set of three lessons following ‘Liberté, égalité, fraternité?/En pleine forme’ Studio GCSE Higher French Module 6.3/4. Students are introduced to the meaning behind the phrase Liberté, égalité, fraternité aswell as some common school rules at the start of the lessons then go on to practice using infinitive constructions and the imperative. Students practice their skills through a range of activities from the book enhanced with support and challenge activities as well as additional slides to explain and practice the grammar, a video discussion task, differentiated translations in to English, a speaking task with student friendly success criteria and a range of tasks to practice essential vocab. A spin the wheel game is also used to consolidate student knowledge. The lessons conclude with an extended writing task with success criteria to facilitate self/peer assessment.
