This lesson is the second of five lessons on logic. Though designed as a sequence, each lesson can be taught without the others. The scheme of work was designed for a particularly gifted year 8 set however, would definitely be suitable for older age groups.

This lesson introduces students to the concept of logical thinking, in particular the recognition of deductive and inductive arguments. By the end of the lesson students should be able to recognise and create Modus Ponens and Modus Tollens arguments.
