This lesson is the first of five lessons on logic. Though designed as a sequence, each lesson can be taught without the others. The scheme of work was designed for a particularly gifted year 8 set however, would definitely be suitable for older age groups.
This lesson introduces students to the concept of logical thinking, in particular the recognition of invalid, valid and sound arguments. By then end of the lesson, students should be able to create their own valid and sound arguments.
