Lesson 2 of 2 about Federico García Lorca

The lesson is designed to be taught online or in person. ‘Zoom’ friendly.

In this lesson we explore Lorca’s unfortunate death, his symbolism and his friendship with Dalí.

A translation of one of his poems - Canción del Jinete - and looking at the symbols present.

Grammar point = 2nd part of using quotes in Spanish and changing ‘citas directas’ to ‘citas indirectas’ when giving commands or requests. (Revision of imperfect subjunctive may be necessary beforehand).

Listening exercise can be read out by the teacher or done as a reading task.

Homework looks at the relationship with Dalí.

The worksheets mirror the PowerPoint and the answers to the exercises are on the slides for self-correction.
