Magnets and Electromagnets Differentiated Question Matrix

This resource is based on a deep-thinking question matrix and is suitable for all achievement groups. I use it as an introduction to the KS4 Electromagnets topic, but can equally be used at the end of the KS3 topic.

Ways to use this resource include:

1. Ask students to complete any number of questions or activities of their choosing, with or without text books.
2. Allocated a set of questions to individual students based on their achievement levels.
3. In a mixed achievement group, and with access to text books, ask students to have as many of the questions completed by the end of the lesson as possible. I usually put a point value each question.
