This lesson has been prepared for a 14 year old class in Scotland. But it could also be used with pupils from 11-16. The assessment has been differentiated to three different levels. This could also be used in a unit on marriage from more than one religion and a non religious view. The steps to success are:
I can describe what happens at a Christian wedding.
I can understand why customs are practised at a Christian Wedding.
I can express an opinion on the customs that are practised at a Christian Wedding.
This has been linked to the Scottish curriculum but it could also apply to other curriculums.
