Thank you for this resource! I used it to introduce algebra to a mixed Year 10 class - some could already simplify expressions involving powers or expand brackets, some had never got past a+a=2a. They all enjoyed 'mind reading' and were positive throughout the rest of the topic. A brilliant yet simple way to show them the power of algebra and 'why would we want to learn that?'
