Slide 2 - Settler/starter activity: Listening - pupils listen to Days of the Week song (and may be encouraged to join in!) Embedded youtube video / link.
Slide 3 - On the starter activity handout, pupils unscramble the words for the days of the week. (Once completed, pupils write the list of the days in the correct order in their exercise books.)
Slide 5 - Matching / translation exercise.
Slides 6-8 - Presentation and class repetition of vocabulary.
Slide 9 - Pronunciation practice.
Slide 10 - Presentation of Question and Answer. Practice as class and then in pairs.
Slide 11 - Speaking activity - pairwork. Pupils take turns to be the people named on the slide and ask/reply what they study / do not study.
Slides 12-13 - Listening activity: Mira 1, p.26, no.2 (Answers on slide 13.)
Slide 14 - Writing activity: Worksheet - Que estudias.
Slide 15 - Recap.
Slides 16-19 Game: Divide pupils into two teams. Alternate team pupils take turns to select a letter from the alphabet (Spanish pronunciation!). Teacher clicks on the letters to reveal an image of a school subject. Team that answers correctly wins a point.
