Fractions greater than one can be given as mixed numbers or improper fractions (where the numerator is larger than the denominator). With just numbers, some students find it difficult to see the relationship between the two. This popular worksheet uses pictures to help students write fractions as mixed numbers and improper fractions and allows them to formulate their own rules for how to convert from one to the other.

Suitable for KS2 and KS3. Helpful for Maths GCSE Foundation revision for low ability Year 11 groups.

This was exactly what I had in mind but did not have time to create for my low ability Year 7s. Thank you so much!
